What Kind Of Laptop Should I Get?

June 16, 2009 by admin

I’m looking for a laptop for multi-tasking and maybe low end games like CS. I was wondering, for about 1500, should I get a mac book? or can anyone reccomend me a laptop or a laptop customization site that ships to Canada. I’d prefer a 15″ or smaller because a 17″ isn’t all that portable…
Preferably ibuypower.com
dell.ca
ncix.com
futureshop.ca
bestbuy.ca
newegg.ca
mac
or maybe even alienware if I can get a good multi-tasking unit for 1500.

id look at either a mac or dell..
Macs are generally more expensive, but great laptops.
Dell has also solid laptops and can get great specs for cheap, when you include the coupons that are available.
Ps. If you do decide to get a mac, you could possibly run some games by running windows on a the same machine (virtual machine) but CS does not play well at all.

if you dont have that big of a bugent i recommend a acer but if you want to get more performance get an hp(be warned there parts give out easily)there about mid ranged (along side Toshiba) if you want a good sturdy laptop thats dependably and is awesome and have a large budget GET A MAC there just great :) you can get games that can be run on a mac and windows some support both :) (plus you can run windows on it to so you can play your games but if you don’t want to do that you won’t be able to play windows games) (it might be a learning curve if you have never used a mac before and are accustomed to windows). the only good thing i find about dells that they are good for drivers and there parts don’t give out that easily and they last longer then most laptops lol. never under any circumstances get a MDG computer of any kind!!! you’ll be sorry. but don’t expect to play any high end games on a laptop there just not designed for that
    alienware computers are realllllllyyy expensive!

I highly recommend DELL. I have had one for a couple months and I absolutely love it and use it every day. It is pretty good for small gaming and it is portable enough for me. Most DELL laptops are and I highly trust the brand.
    Good Luck!

Get A Fujitsu Siemens They Are Really Reliable And Are Real Fast… Advents Aren’t Bad Either But They Would Be Way Less Than 1500… I Have A Fujitsu Siemens For 4 Years And Since Day One It Is On About 12 Hours A Day REAL RELIABLE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

hey just to clarify, dont get a mac you cant play any games on it. buy an Alienware, they are a proven company with proven products that are very high speed and very high quality.
