Info About Running An Apple Program On Windows?

I know that you can have a program that runs on your Mac that simulates Windows. Is there an opposite program for your Windows?
I have to switch to Apple for college. I have been looking at Mac and testing them out and have come to realize that I don’t like them at all. The old Macs were ok but the new features that are supposed to be all high tec would only make my life miserable. Now please don’t answer my question by saying macs will grow on me or that I should try them more. I have for the last two years and nothin yet.
My school requires a mac operating system for our programs. I am going to a music school so this is a requirement that I can’t get around. Would there be a way to make a windows computer with a mac program? The Mac to Windows lets you choose what you want at start up but I want a Windows body. It can be any type of computer from Dell to HP. There is no way that i can afford a 17 inch screen which is what i need and all of the memory that i need.
Windows helps me build a better laptop that would more suit my needs and without a $3000 price tag which is what i am looking at now for a BASIC apple computer. Help!

Anyone Had This Problem When Installing Windows Xp On A New Hard Drive?

Windows Vista Blue Screens?

I am having problems with my new Dell Studio 17 laptop it keeps blue screening. Does anyone know why vista is doing this? Is there anything that I can do? I know a little about computers but I am no expert; or is this something that I should take to a professional to fix?

i am getting a Dell Studio 17 laptop, with Windows Vista! (not a gaming laptop) but i do want some small games for my laptop. (NOT like Call of Duty 4) i want something like Bejeweled 2 or something.

How Do I Know If It Is Possible For My Local Computer Tech To Install Windows Xp On A New Dell Laptop?

I am looking at purchasing a new Dell Studio 17 Laptop. Unfortunately Dell is completely worthless in letting me know if after I removed Vista if the installation of XP would go alright? I would assume it would…but the techs at Dell all told me different things, so I don’t know what to believe? I work from home, and having Vista isn’t even an option…I don’t want to even THINK about another type of computer…this is what I want…but I need to know if XP will work on it. Any ideas?
(P.S….I was wondering if the reason they are hesitant to say is just b/c of marketing agreements, and also new features like the backlit keyboard that might not work with XP?)
