Ok so im on the Dell website, and i’m lookin at these 2 laptops which cost roughly the same but can’t choose between them. Basically i need an expert on opinion on which is best.
Obviously i want the fastest laptop for the lowest price, don’t really care about having a good graphics card or big screen. Also on that note is Dell the best place to get a laptop?? Also bear in mind i can get £50/£70 off these two laptops if i buy before tomorrow!
The links are hugh so i’l just tell u what they are and you can look them up:
Inspiron 1525 at £529
Studio 17 at £549

Notebook From Which Brand Would Last Longer (after 1st Year Warranty Is Expired!)…?

June 22, 2009 by admin

I want to buy notebook 15″ or 17 ” for my sisters family, so I wonder which notebook brand could I put my faith in…They are not very PC skilled so they wouldn’t be raping it all the time, maybe Internet, photos from digital camera, Internet, some movies, etc. I don’t want to pay 3 yrs warranty, because some (like Sony, Samsung and Apple are VERY expensive!), and therefore I would like to know for which laptop brand or type could I hope to have a reasonably long life 3-5 years…Friends told me HP, Lenovo and some Dell’s notebooks…Any suggestions? Also, is it true that watching movies on a laptop fries motherboard? Some laptops today, ie. Dell Latitude E6400 have Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500, which can have betwen 1300 and 1800 MB graphic memory, depending on RAM, so shouldn’t they be able play movies without any problems?
Also, which brand is cheapest to repair (you’ll probably say Acer, but I just wanted to make sure!)?
Should I go with Asus (2 year warranty without extra money!)?
Thank you for your attention and answers!

Which Of These Laptops Should I Get?

Should I get the Studio 17 by Dell (http://garfieldminusgarfield.net/day/200… or the macbook by Apple (http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/sh… I am looking for a laptop that can take funny pictures with distortions and special effects, and that can also edit your voice. I’m pretty sure the macbook can take better pictures, but I am not sure if it can distort your voice in videos. Also, the macbook is more expensive than the studio 17. What do you think I should do? Thanks for your help.

I Am Getting Ready To Buy A Laptop – Which One Is Best?

June 21, 2009 by admin

I used to be a Gateway fan but the last one only lasted a year and a half. The staff there was not helpful and basically I got stiffed. You may need to know what I use it for. I am a full-time freelance writer so I am on it all the time and I need a big screen, at least 17″. It needs to be really fast.
I also will prob get the 3 year warranty this time, is it worth it? I was looking at a Dell refurb based on someone’s recommendation to save money. Money is an issue, I’d like to stay well under $800 or much less if I can get something really nice.
What do you think I should buy?
