I’m Downgrading From Win. Vista. Is This Laptop Good For Sims 2 And 3?

I’ve had soome issues with my NEW and FIRST Toshiba Win. Vista Home Premium (64-bit) laptop (I had to return it just DAYS after I got it cause the cd-dvd drive just stopped working, and after talking to a Computer Tech about it (he said the drive was too old to be for Vista!), I’ve decided to downgrade to XP. What do you think??
Can I play sims 2 AND 3? And the EPS on it?

Does Battlefield 2 Work On Vista.?

i have vista 64bit/ and 4gb of ram /2.0 ghz/dual core 2 processor/ and the new ati graphic card its a dell 17 studio laptop when i put the cd in half way into the instillation it said it only had been tested on 32bit for vista what should i do .

Windows Vista Blue Screens?

I am having problems with my new Dell Studio 17 laptop it keeps blue screening. Does anyone know why vista is doing this? Is there anything that I can do? I know a little about computers but I am no expert; or is this something that I should take to a professional to fix?

Screen Saver Doesn’t Work On A Dell Laptop With Vista ?

I have a new Dell laptop with Vista loaded into it and for some reason the screen saver doesn’t work… If I check it on the set up page it’s fine and if I let it set while it boots up with out touching anything it’ll work the first time… But after that first time it doesn’t work… I’ve tried different ones and changed settings but nothing works…
Any ideas…???

What Solution Is There For Prob Installing Hp3210 Printer On New Laptop With Vista?

I have just got new Dell Studio 17 laptop which is my first experience of Windows Vista OS. Mostly OK, though a few snags with some of my software I’m working through. However, biggest (and most annoying!) issue is with my HP All-in-One printer. When tried to install on new pc, using CD, received HP error msg regarding incompatibility with the OS. Something to do with the location of a driver (I think) in a different place in Vista from XP. I am not confident to fiddle around in my registry without expert guidance, and wondered if anyone has encountered this prob and can advise me of solution? (I did not find HP’s website at all helpful; went there looking for a patch or download, and found nothing.) Have had printer a few years, v. happy w. it and, of course, no probs previously when running on XP. I welcome your suggestions. Thank you.

Games For Windows Vista Laptop!?

i am getting a Dell Studio 17 laptop, with Windows Vista! (not a gaming laptop) but i do want some small games for my laptop. (NOT like Call of Duty 4) i want something like Bejeweled 2 or something.

Dell Studio 17 With Vista Has No Sound?

I bought this laptop two days ago and occasionally the sound will stop working. Once i reboot it works again this has happened twice already. Does anybody know what is wrong with the sound?

Dell Laptop Vista Internet Problem???please Help. Its Not The Router Or The Laptop But I Cant Connect.?

I cant connect to the internet. it says little or local connection.what does that mean. i tried going online it says web page cannot be displayed but says were conneted but only locally. we have tried lots of things disableing and enabling and restarting and even putting the password and stuff back on from the internet company. still nothing is there a lock or somthing that can stop you from going online. we have 2 laptops in same house both dell 17″ studios with Wifi. the one laptop had internet connection no problem until i disconnected it from the internet to try my laptop with internet but that didnt work and then reconnected the laptop that had connection back up but now thats haveing same problem as the 2nd laptop little or local internet but cant get online. now we have 2 dells in house with no internet but cant seem to know why. we even hooked up modem directly into laptop and still says little or local connection. also tried searching for wireless router and it says cant find it but like i said the 1st laptop had connection until i disconnected it. now both computers cant figure out y no connection. can someone please help…
