I want to know what kind of video cards i can upgrade to. I don’t want them to be to big if i buy then. I have the 17″ screen one which meens a BIG laptop i’m a gamer so it has to fit one of those big juice cards so i can run good games . So:
1. Can i even upgrade to a Better video card, I have a Integrated video card at the moment?
2. How big can it be, or how do i check the slot it goes into?

I Am Thinking Of Buying A Dell Inspiron 1721 Off Of Ebay Does The Information Below Sound Good Memory And Stuf?

i am thinking of buying the dell 1721 off of ebay but i dont have a clue about memory and stuff so am not sure if i should buy it yet…i use my latop for MSN, Downloading music and playing games such as sims 2 and when i get it sims 3 can you please tell me if the memory sounds ok and if everything sounds ok and good memory and that cause i want a fairly quick laptop nbot something that freezes all the time and stuff here is the info…

Dell Inspiron Laptops The 1720 Verses 1520 ? Which Should I Get?

I’ve upgraded both the 1720 and the 1520 to the same processors and upgrades such as :
Screens 1440×900
Video card 128MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8400M GS
Hard Drive 160GB SATA Hard Drive (7200RPM)
ExpressCard Sound Blaster X-Fi® Xtreme Audio Sound Card
They exactly the same inside wise the only difference I can really find between the two is the 1720 has the 17 inch screen and the 1520 has the 15 inch screen. I’m at a loss the 1720 is only $25 more for the bigger screen but is bigger really better? Which should I get?

Hp Dv9500t Vs. Dell Inspiron 1720 Or Vostro 1700? Laptops?

All with similar configurations: 2.2 – 2.4GHZ, 256MB Video, 3GB RAM, 17″ screen (highest res).
HP is offering a 30% coupon.. which means the HP will be roughly $600 less than how much it would cost me to get an Inspiron or Vostro that has no obvious advantages (lower GHZ CPU).
Only main difference is that the HP has a 8600M GS video card.
Both Dells have 8600M GT cards.
I want this laptop to last, but I still can’t decide. Which is better in overall build?. I’ve had a Dell desktop that was a pain in the neck since day one (faulty hard drive on delivery, replaced and corrupted again, motherboard faulty x3) .. but it’s last me 7 years.
Opinions?.
Is the increased price for Dell really worth it?.
I plan on upgrading with my own RAM. Any laptop is set at min config. to save money so I can do this.
