Fujitsu Siemens Computer Monitor Question…?

I have a Dell Inspiron 6400, and a fujitsu Siemens moniter similar to this one: http://www.inhabitat.com/wp-content/uplo…
I regularly hook my laptop up to that screen, which doesn’t say that it works with windows vista, which is what my laptop runs, and i have to set the resoloution every time because my laptop screen is 15.4″ widescreen, and the monitor size is 17″. and even then, the image is a bit wierd.
What i want to know is if i buy a desktop computer on its own, and hook it up to the monitor, will it have that almost distorted image, and will it fit the screen to the screen size?

I have all of the cd’s I got with it. I got it December of 06. It is in great condition except for the fact that it has a minor scratch on the cover….

Is This A Good Gaming Computer?

I am looking for a good gaming computer that is capable of running games at a good pace, while graphically looking good. I hate 17 inch screens on laptops, so I am going for a 15.4 inch. I have narrowed it down to this computer. It is a Dell XPS 1530 and I will list the specs below. It doesnt have to be an ultra gaming machine, just good enough to play some of your average to higher end games on pretty good specs. This computer is also for school and some work. Please let me know if this is a good choice or if I need to continue shopping.

Dizzy From Computer ?

Before i got this computer i never ever got dizzy spells. I got a desktop with an old monitor. When i’m on it, even for about 20 minutes, I get really dizzy. But if I dont use my desktop and use my laptop with is a dell inspiron 6400, i dont get dizzy one bit which is really weird.. I do have asitgmatism though, but not really badly. I have a mild perscription. I hate feeling dizzy almost every single day, it ruins me. I am only 17 years old and it stops me from doing many things.
whats the cause ?

Would This Be A Computer To Play The Sims 3 On?

Hi, if you haven’t heard about the sims 3 yet it is a computer simulation game that is high on graphics. There are no official specs out yet and there may not be for several more months. I need a new computer soon but I want to be fairly sure that it will handle this game. Here are the specs for one that i’m looking at. Can you tell me if everything looks ok?
