Is A Ati Radeon Hd 3850 A Good Card For Today’s Games?

I am building a PC for $500 and I am going to put a 3850 in it is this a good card for today’s games like can I play far cry 2 on all maxed out settings and still get a good frame rate. I am gaming on a dell XPS M1710 gaming laptop that has a nVidia geforce GO 7950 GTX and 4GB of RAM and when I played far cry 2 with all settings maxed out I only got 17 FPS and is this card better than the geforce GO 7950 GTX?

I Need A Video Card That Can Run Dual Moniters, And Play Games At A Decent Resolution. Any Ideas?

I use a dell ultra sharp 24″ lcd in tandem with a 17″ ultra sharp dell. My video card on my pc however is burnt out and I have had my laptop connected to my moniter for the past week. What would be a good replacement? Anyone have any ideas of what kinda card i should get for a pretty cheap price that could play games at a decent resolution and handle dual moniters with ease? Under 150 or so would be good, but ill take any suggestions.

Dell Inspiron 1720 Video Card Upgrades 10 Points Best Answer!!?

I want to know what kind of video cards i can upgrade to. I don’t want them to be to big if i buy then. I have the 17″ screen one which meens a BIG laptop i’m a gamer so it has to fit one of those big juice cards so i can run good games . So:
1. Can i even upgrade to a Better video card, I have a Integrated video card at the moment?
2. How big can it be, or how do i check the slot it goes into?

Graphics Card For Laptops?

I’m getting a new laptop soon and have been looking at a Dell Studio 17 or an XPS 1530 and I want to know which graphics card is better for gaming/photoshop and all that.
An Nvidia 8600M or an ATI 3650.
Note – all other specs are basically the same its just the graphics card which is my concern.

I Commited Credit Card Fraud Wat Will Happen If I Get Caught??

I cannot keep this in me any more. For 7 months i have used credit cards that i stole from this website shop admin. I used over 300 credit cards to get stuff like ps3, laptops, xbox 360, cellphones, etc… list is long ,, and i will sell the stuff for half price . A week a go i decide to stop cuz a friend of mine who was using someones credit (ssn, dob, etc) to buy dell laptops thru financing got caught and is now in jail. I feel somewhat bad of what i have done. I dont know what will happen to me when i get caught. I use proxy socks for every minute im online or buying stuffs. So i dont know if i was being monitored good enough. Can someone tell me what will happen to me if i get caught. I just turned 17 3 weeks ago. And i have gotten over $15,000 worth of things. I really did majority of things when i was 16 and still a “minor” but now im no longer considered a minor so i have stopped. I just wanna know how many years in jail i will serve if i ever get arrested. Thanks!

I’m getting a new laptop and I’m stuck on weather I should get the
Dell Inspiron 1520: 15.4″ with a resolution of (1680×1050) and a 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® Go 8600M GT video card.
or
Dell Inpiron 1720: 17″ with a resolution of (1920×1200) and a 128MB NVIDIA® GeForce® Go 8400M GS video card.
I’m a moderate gamer so I am looking for a decent video card and i appreciate a good resolution for watching movies. I don’t know if there is much difference between the two =P

Workstation Graphics Cards? Will An Entertainment Card Do The Job?

I heard entertainment cards are the ones driving the industry (e.g. gaming computers) so it should suffice for a workstation …or will it?
This is going to be a workstation for a CMM (coordinate measuring machine) which is for reverse engineering, just the opposite of CAD.
A cheaper route for a laptop selection is the HP computer with the entertainment graphics card: NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7600
The CMM has used a Dell computer with the workstation graphics card of: NVIDIA Quadro FX 350M Turbocache OpenGL
What does a workstation graphics card have over a gaming card? (HP 17″ entertainment/gaming laptop is about $1500 while a 17″ Dell workstation laptop is almost twice the cost)
