Info About Running An Apple Program On Windows?

I know that you can have a program that runs on your Mac that simulates Windows. Is there an opposite program for your Windows?
I have to switch to Apple for college. I have been looking at Mac and testing them out and have come to realize that I don’t like them at all. The old Macs were ok but the new features that are supposed to be all high tec would only make my life miserable. Now please don’t answer my question by saying macs will grow on me or that I should try them more. I have for the last two years and nothin yet.
My school requires a mac operating system for our programs. I am going to a music school so this is a requirement that I can’t get around. Would there be a way to make a windows computer with a mac program? The Mac to Windows lets you choose what you want at start up but I want a Windows body. It can be any type of computer from Dell to HP. There is no way that i can afford a 17 inch screen which is what i need and all of the memory that i need.
Windows helps me build a better laptop that would more suit my needs and without a $3000 price tag which is what i am looking at now for a BASIC apple computer. Help!

Confused About Laptop..help Me,asap?

Now i had a lot of option to buy laptop..
1st i have option from ebay = sony vaio sz type(maybe sz58**) black colour it cost me $2100 and the original price maybe around $2500++
2.2 ghz/15.4″/160gb/2gb/8400mGS..im not sure about the graphic card,because sony have a famous brand i think its a good idea to buy
2nd also from ebay = HP pavillion Dv9600 around $2000
2,2ghz/17″/320gb/4gb/8600mGS
but this one too big but have a good spec though
my last option is dell XPS M1530 it will be cost me 2250 because
2.2ghz/320gb/3gb/256 mb 8600mGT
i just upgrade the LCD with the best option,and +case,and the batterry also..it comes good for me because until 8 jan they’ve been giving offer free upgrade 2 year XPS warranty,sound blaster audigy and usb speaker..
Please someone help me who knows lots about computer things..

What Can I Do About My Game Crashing?

I tried installing the sims pet stories to my laptop (it says it’s a laptop friendly game). I have a dell studio 17 and my game loads fine..but when I go to start the actual game..it loads to a certain point and just stops. Sound still goes like nothing is wrong but if you click the game then it goes black than white and says the program isn’t responding.
Any suggestions?
Also to anyone who knows the sims game..the menu loads..but when i go to start a story it loads a little than freezes..

What Can I Do About The Glare On My Laptop Screen ??

i have a 17″ dell xps that when i use in the car or outside i get a glare and especially with the sun it is hard to see. i tried checking at both fry’s and wal-mart for a glare screen reducer to put over the screen but neither had anything for a 17″. anyone have any tricks or perhaps know of a place that carries one ??? i’m in the DFW area if you know a store.
