for 124$ its ok but don’t try running anything new on it because it doesn’t have enough processing power you want at least 2 GHz and 256 mb of RAM don’t try running more than 1 program at a time or it will be slower than molasses in January you’ll want at least 1 gig 2 if you want to upgrade to vista

the parts alone are worth more than $125 but with new comps being so cheap, my laptop was $700 and my desktop $800 (Canadian $) you can’t really ask for much more than that. Someone is going to buy it with the sole intention to scrap it for the RAM and disc drives. It’s already a sunk cost where you bought it (or paid it off) years ago. SO it’s sitting idle now and not worth anything to you. Try and sell it for $125, you might need to haggle the price with someone but whatever you get for it is all profit, really.

i’m looking at the hdd 40 gigs, and the ram 256, to low on both, some programs take up plenty of hardrive space and music and photos as well,at 256mb your laptop will take forever to boot, contact the owner
and ask can you upgrade the ram to at least 1gb,the harddrive should be no problem upgrading at least 160 gb and make sure you get a windows cd and or system recovery disc with the laptop

a 100 would have been better u have no ram to speak of –but is a cheap up grade to i gig—u’ll need an xternal hard drive if u want more storeage—and is that a core 2 or pent 3 or 4
but a good buy—just for surfing and mail—-also check ur battery condition that is cheap also

It’s not that bad for the price but it’s really not worth it. If you’re going to get a PC that you want to last a while then you’re better off buying a decent PC for the extra money.
